For years, communist-democrats have been telling us that if only we could do away with capitalism and the Constitution, we could have a communist utopia. Of course, they couldn’t be more wrong. We all know that communism is about authoritarian power and absolute control over every one and everything. Their ‘utopia’ is a deadly one for the people.
Run-away inflation, a failing banking system, a crashing economy, and a two-tiered system of justice which rewards corruption and money laundering are just a few of the problems we are facing as a nation. In Washington State, we have a governor-dictator and a Democrat-controlled legislature that routinely violates the state and national constitutions and the natural rights of the people in the name of ‘environmental and social justice.’
Unfortunately, those in the Republican party who claim that we could win elections if only we were MORE conservative are making the same error. I don’t think the everyday voter in Washington state wants to exchange left-wing authoritarians for right-wing authoritarians.
Republicans will win Washington when we appeal to the broadest coalition of voters. We need to stop attacking the various interest groups within our party and focus on the values that we ALL hold dear. Liberty and justice for all. Prosperity and safety for all. The freedom to pursue happiness no matter what skin color or genitalia we have. Mutual respect. Radical honesty and truthfulness. Courageous discourse.
Republicans must focus on being the party of returning power to local jurisdictions, the party of transparency and honesty, the party of personal choice and personal responsibility. “You do you, and we respect your choice,” might just be a winning attitude to promote.
The people are yearning to be FREE… we need to focus on that.
