It's time for action! In back-to-back moves last week, the U.S. Supreme Court and President Trump delivered a dose of long-overdue common sense. Taken together, these decisions could open the door for a much-needed comeback in Washington’s timber and mining industries—and give rural families a real chance to thrive again.
Everywhere we turn there are politically-motivated lawsuits intended to push one political agenda and stop another. They do this because there is no downside. If you don't like President Trump, you sue him every time he opens his mouth. You choose activist "judges" to hear the cases. What if you lose? You are out the few dollars for the legal fees and the "judge" still is a "judge".
What if Congress passed a law that thwarted these frivolous lawsuits and activist "judges". What if a "judge" who was overruled X times lose his/her position? What if an activist group had to pay ALL court costs each time they lost? I think this lawfare would be drastically reduced if there were consequences and accountability to them.
I encourage you to actively support any conservative candidate you like running against either of our Senators. It's an uphill battle to win against the D machine in this state, but it can be done!
100% correct it is an uphill, Sysiphus like, battle to dislodge the democrats from our 2 senate seats and many other positions. I thought we had Murray on the ropes in 2022 with Tiffany Smiley but once again the King county machine prevailed. Now Cant-vote-well is entrenched until 2030. Both our federal and state representation is dominated by left leaning democrats.
The question is whether the state government will permit it. Ferguson made his bones as AG by suing Trump all the time instead of solving problems here. He's continuing the same policy as governor.
This is all good news. There are many things to be irritated about when it comes to President Trump, but cutting through all the ridiculousness, his appointments to SCOTUS, his appointments to the different agencies, and his focus on getting rid of red tape are all golden. Not just for the rural areas, either. Every industry will win (well, except maybe the green energy industry - they can't survive without gov't subsidies!!)
At this point the only hope we have is SCOTUS siding with the Trump administration on such issues. WA is so full of democrat reps we continue to lose individual rights and freedoms while paying more in taxes for those losses.
LAWFARE

I agree. Congress needs to take action to limit lawfare and political misuse of the legal system.
Where is our great senator, Patti Murray? Of 32 years! Our dams , our fish, now our water supply for fighting wildfires! She needs to be voted out

It's not like we have a great person in charge of Natural Resources, either... Upthegrove 👀
