It's Primary Season in Washington State! Ballots were mailed July 19, and voters have until August 6 to turn them in. Since only the top two vote getters advance to the general election, my top strategy is to support good Republican candidates who are "electable". Here's my recommendations.
I disagree with your choice for governor. Semi Bird was endorsed by more than 70% of the delegates at the state GOP convention. He is a true conservative and a great guy!! Dave Reichert didn’t even bother to show up at the State Convention!!
Thank you, Diana. I appreciate the comment and the sentiment.
However, I stand by this idea: "The most electable candidate may not be the most conservative candidate, but we've got to start somewhere and prove to the general public that it's time for a change in Washington politics. This year, we have a great opportunity to win some races if we can remember to choose candidates who have a broad appeal!"
I like Semi, but Dave is MORE ELECTABLE. I want to WIN.
A common sense way to approach voting. You have to win first. Thanks for your insight.
