We always vote! And we strongly exhort others to do so!

Lord, please bless our state & nation by bringing your children out to vote for righteous causes by the millions today.

Thank you, Susan, for always voting! And thank you for this excellent prayer! Amen!

We always vote (well my 20-year-old daughter doesn't), but we wait until election day to drop off our ballots. I do the research and write up notes for my husband and 25-year-old son.

I love to hear from people who always vote! I'm really preaching to the choir, because you understand the importance of it. If you can get your daughter voting, that's a 25% increase in the impact of your household, so that's the next goal to work for! :) Thanks for commenting!

Currently my daughter is out of the country in a nation with unreliable mail service. We'll see when she returns to the US at the end of the year.

I dropped off my ballot yesterday and my husband's today. He didn't want to bother with voting, for all the reasons you mentioned in this article. I agree with all those reasons, but I convinced him to vote anyway. At least we did our part in trying to make things better. Of course I'm praying for change as well.

I think that it's really important to let people know that we are being manipulation into inaction. At least for me, it inspires me to work to overcome that "deer in the headlights" feeling. Thanks Michelle for voting and persuading your husband, too!

I think you are spot on about us being manipulated into inaction. 28 candidates for governor? Really? That is ridiculous and overwhelming for the average voter…
